Wallpaper and wallcovering services

A wallcovering project can mean a single accent wall, a full room, a mural or the removal of an existing finish. The right service depends on the product and the wall beneath it.

Choose the work your room needs

Six services, one useful starting point: the wall itself.

Wallpaper differs in weight, backing, repeat and adhesive. Existing wall layers and room details matter too. Browse the services, then call if you would like to talk through the material you have in mind.

01 / Core service

Wallpaper installation

Installation includes more than hanging the first drop. Layout affects how a pattern meets at corners, along a ceiling line and around doors or windows. The repeat, wall shape and paper instructions inform where the work begins and how the design carries across the room.

Projects may include an accent wall or multiple walls in a home or business. If you already have wallpaper, a product name or manufacturer instructions can help the discussion—but you can call even while you are choosing.

02 / Self-adhesive material

Peel-and-stick wallpaper

Self-adhesive does not mean surface-agnostic. Dust, texture, fresh paint, sheen and wall condition can affect how a product bonds and releases. Read the product’s preparation and surface guidance before starting.

The roll’s directions also matter for alignment, overlap or edge-to-edge seams. Share what you know about the product and the wall so the right next step can be discussed.

03 / Business interiors

Commercial wallpaper installation

Retail, office and other business interiors can bring practical questions about wall area, access, material choice and how the room is used. Clear scope helps identify which surfaces and transitions are included.

Call to discuss your setting, intended wallcovering and project city. An on-site review or measurements may be discussed when useful; availability is confirmed for each inquiry.

04 / Before hanging

Wall preparation

A sound, appropriately smooth surface helps the paper meet the wall consistently. Old adhesive, peeling paint, patching, wall texture and differences in porosity can change the preparation needed.

Preparation depends on what is present and on the wallcovering manufacturer’s directions. The surface should be assessed before work begins rather than assuming one primer or preparation method suits every wall.

05 / Distinctive materials

Specialty wallcovering installation

Murals, panoramics, textured papers and other specialty wallcoverings may use panel numbering, particular adhesives or product-specific handling. The artwork or texture can make alignment especially noticeable.

If you have a product guide or panel plan, it can help the conversation. You do not need to have every detail settled to ask what the project may involve.

06 / Existing paper

Wallpaper removal

Removing old wallpaper can expose paste residue, earlier repairs or a surface that needs further attention before a new finish. The number of layers, paper type and wall beneath it all affect the work.

If you are planning a new installation afterward, that can be part of the same conversation. Learn more on the wallpaper removal page.

Material choice

Bring the product details if you have them.

Paper-backed, non-woven, vinyl and self-adhesive products do not all use the same method. Manufacturer directions are the best guide for a particular roll or panel set.

If you are still comparing patterns, start with the room: the wall dimensions, natural light, fixed trim and the size of the repeat can influence how a design reads.
